Description
The “Rydwan” electric drive for an active manual wheelchair is perfect for those traveling with their own wheelchair and those who don’t have much space to store a large electric wheelchair. The electric drive is the perfect solution for maintaining independence and the freedom of traveling independently with a wheelchair. Switching from an electric wheelchair to a manual wheelchair and vice versa takes just a few seconds. The drive is attached to the customer’s existing active wheelchair, so there’s no need to buy a new wheelchair.
Thanks to the electric drive, you can easily travel even long distances with the stroller, as the lithium-ion battery allows for a range of up to 40 km. Its small size and weight allow you to always have a second set of batteries with you, and if necessary, simply replace it to continue using the electric drive. Lithium-ion batteries are the most modern on the market, characterized by their low weight and twice the lifespan of gel batteries. Attaching the drive involves connecting the two clamps located at the ends of the drive to the front tubes of the stroller frame.
The “Rydwan” drive was first presented at the Rehacare 2015 Trade Fair in Düsseldorf, where it attracted enormous interest and recognition among visitors to our stand. The “Rydwan” drive is our response to customer inquiries about a drive that can be used not only in cross-type wheelchairs but also in active wheelchairs.
The drive was designed and manufactured by our company, and we stock all spare parts and, if necessary, service. Our solution provides the customer with the most affordable electric wheelchair on the market, foldable and powered by lithium-ion batteries.
